Life Can’t Be Controlled
As we grow up, most of us are being taught to take life into our own hands, meaning to take full responsibility for everything, but if you observe your life carefully, you’ll realize that you can’t control the flow (the happening) of your life.
Instead of trying to control and micro-manage your life, I suggest a different approach. Let go of control fully and learn to flow. When a change is required, your life force will move in that direction, and change will happen either through you or by itself. When you need to accept something instead of changing it, your life force will flow in that direction naturally, too.
The More You Try, The Worse It Gets
The more you try to take full responsibility for your life and do your best to improve yourself, the worse you feel. That is so because you’re implying that reality is not as it should be, and you need to change it. Don’t misunderstand this. Sometimes change is needed, but that happens effortlessly because the life force within you supports that change. However, if your life force doesn’t support the actions you’re taking, you’ll just become more miserable. So, we could say that the more you try to force things, the worse things become.
The Balance
There’s a balanced attitude towards life. Taking life seriously enough so you can fully participate in the game, but also not taking it too seriously, because eventually everything changes here. Nothing from this reality is permanent. Everything is born, and then it dies eventually. Well, if we want to be more accurate, it doesn’t really die, it just transforms/changes form.
To have that balance, you’ll need to understand a deep truth. Your participation in life plays an important part, but destiny will always happen. These two don’t contradict each other, even if it seems so. Your participation is part of the destiny. Like it or not, you will participate; you don’t have a choice. Just don’t take everything so seriously, because everything here is transient anyway. Do your part and leave the rest to a force greater than you. Allow life to meet you halfway.
